A squirrel chewed through my break line, I was told this happens all the time out in Champaign yet they didn’t have the part needed to fix this. I live 2 hours north and was visiting for the weekend, I am lucky I was able to stay another night with my friend and her roommates as I am not 21 so couldn’t rent a hotel room OR get a rental car!!! (didn’t know Volkswagen was like this how can i purchase a car at 18 but not rent one???) I had to find a way to get home as I have work and school and already missed a day, and left my car in the shop until Saturday (I got it towed there Monday). Thursday they state the part should be there and they’ll get it fixed asap, which was the case. Come to Saturday I get there and my paperwork can’t be found or my car since the V dealership is closed. Later on I get a text and call after i already drove home stating the part just arrived make an appointment to install. There is a complete lack of communication in these establishments!
