The 5/31 appointment was supposed to be for a free oil change and a diagnostic test. Upon arrival, the Service technician informed me that the diagnostic test would be $180 which I was agreeable to however then informed me that they would not be able to complete the test that day due to it being Saturday. When I inquired about the appointment notes she told me there was nothing indicated and that I would have to come back for a separate appointment on a day that VW has technicians scheduled. I explained that this was previously discussed with the person who scheduled my appointment and I understood the price and length of time required, also that I travel from Coles County. Thankfully the oil change was completed not without some push back because I had a coupon that wasn't signed/filled out (I had inquired about this being a potential issue when I scheduled the appointed me on 5/28 and was told it would be accepted as is). She was kind enough to make me another appointment on the following Tuesday but this defeated the purpose of scheduling an early Saturday appointment to complete both service tasks so I didn't have to miss work. Nonetheless, my return experience on the following Tuesday was much better. I received thorough information regarding my questions, the Service Dept Tech that helped me was transparent and up front which was much better than the service I received the Saturday prior. Aside from having to travel to Urbana twice in 4 days,
